Bobby Pierce didn't even make the feature on Wednesday night. With 82 cars jammed into Eldora Speedway for the FloRacing Night in America opener and only 24 starting the main, the Smooth Operator was on the outside looking in. Twenty-four hours later, he won his Dream prelim from 7th, banking $30,000. Two nights after that, he lined up 13th for the Dirt Late Model Dream finale, picked off a dozen cars, and drove away with $100,000.

The 12-spot charge made Pierce the hard charger of the biggest race of the week. Max Blair finished second from 8th to earn $30,000, the biggest payday of his 2026 season. Nick Hoffman advanced from 15th to third, and Dale McDowell climbed from 16th to fourth. Seventy-three cars attempted to qualify; 26 started the feature.

Pierce's two Dream wins pushed his 2026 earnings to at least $509,600 across 46 races, extending his lead atop the DLM money list. He and Hudson O'Neal remain tied at 13 wins apiece on the season.

Cancellations hit the schedule hard this week. Mississippi Thunder Speedway lost all three nights of its planned weekend. Port Royal Speedway ($5,000), Davenport Speedway ($5,000), and Quincy Raceways ($5,000) all had races canceled. Screven Motor Speedway's $10,098 event on Saturday was the biggest single cancellation by purse. In total, 33 Late Model races were scratched across the week.

Form Watch

McDowell's quiet Eldora week. Dale McDowell didn't win at Eldora, but he was remarkably consistent: 3rd on Wednesday (from 11th), 3rd on Friday (from 3rd), and 4th on Saturday's Dream finale (from 16th). Three top-4 finishes in the toughest fields of the year. At 14th in the DLM ratings, McDowell has been one of the steadiest performers over the last month.

Hoffman's two-win week. Hoffman won Wednesday's FloRacing event and finished third in Saturday's Dream, earning at least $45,000 across his three Eldora starts. He's now carrying eight wins on the 2026 season and more than $330,107 in earnings.

Blair's best week of the year. Blair's runner-up finish in the Dream finale was worth $30,000, easily his biggest check of 2026. He backed it up with an 8th on Friday and a 7th on Wednesday. His $36,500 Eldora week brings his season total to more than $127,554.

Dream struggles for the top seeds. O'Neal (started 5th, finished 19th), Sheppard (started 2nd, finished 18th), and Erb (started 7th, finished 20th) all started inside the top 12 for the Dream finale and finished outside the top 15. Garrett Alberson started 4th and finished 22nd. Starting position was no guarantee in this one.
